Position Description:
- The person shall provide support to their primary process areas and any additional areas as requested by their manager.
- Ability to climb ladders, enter close spaces, work at heights, lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and be on their feet for the entire shift.
- Work closely with engineering to resolve daily and very importantly recurring issues.
- Follow process data or Key Process Indicators daily and weekly to identify trends, influences, or recurring patterns in the area.
- Perform root cause analysis on reasons for trends, equipment issues- importantly repeat equipment issues, and process drifts.
- Provide support for equipment upgrades and improvements.
- Ability to repair equipment or give remote direction for how to repair in an emergency situation, possibly on nights and weekends.
- Ability to occasionally provide off hours support.
- Provide feedback, training and guidance to shift TSAs, PCLs, or others to further develop them.
- Generate procedural documents for preventative or corrective maintenance tasks. Improve upon existing documentation.
- Assist maintenance and engineering team in plant shutdowns or startups.
- Ensure all product meets requirements as defined by the Plant’s Quality Management Systems.
- Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 and ISO45001 EMS guidelines.
- Must be able to work with chemicals (Germanuium Tetrachloride, Silica Tetrachloride, Chlorine, Hydrofluoric Acid, etc.).
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping in the offices, on the floor, and maintenance support areas.
- Other duties as assigned by direct manager or a member of management.
For PCVD, OVD and Etching areas: Complete the Advanced Chemical Operator (ACO) Certification (see list of requirements).
